FAQ
Common questions.
- Is Dashers really free?
- Yes. Sharing and collecting on Dashers is 100% free. We make a small margin from optional business subscriptions for partner restaurants and supermarkets.
- Is the food safe to eat?
- Listings show clear use-by dates, ingredients and allergen info. Members rate each other and unsafe listings are removed by our moderation team.
- Which cities are live?
- Yaoundé, Douala, Lagos, Nairobi and Accra — with more zones opening every quarter. Vote for your city on our Ambassador page.
- How do Dash Heroes work?
- Volunteers complete a short training, get matched with a nearby business, and rescue surplus food on a regular shift. Heroes earn tips and impact karma.
- Can my business join?
- Absolutely. Restaurants, hotels and supermarkets get a free partner dashboard, an ESG impact report and zero-cost surplus redistribution. See the Partners page.
