Our story

A neighbourhood movement, not a marketplace.

Dashers started in Yaoundé in 2024 with a simple frustration — perfectly good food being binned at 9pm every night while families a street away went without.

Why we exist

Across Africa, an estimated 30% of food is lost or wasted before it reaches a plate. At the same time, hundreds of millions of people skip meals every day. Dashers exists to close that gap, one neighbourhood at a time.

What we believe

The most powerful unit of change isn't a country, a city, or even a charity — it's a neighbourhood. People who know each other's first names. Dashers gives that neighbourhood the digital fabric to share food, goods, and care.

Where we are

We're live in Yaoundé, Douala, Lagos, Nairobi and Accra — and growing fast. If you want Dashers in your city, drop us a line.
